HOA president across 62nd Street welcomed development but documented chronic ditch flooding and a ~15-foot-wide crumbling street, asking infrastructure be addressed before rezoning.

A 20-year resident near 62nd and Troost said the streets are unsafe today and questioned whether the city and developer would fix roads and drainage before any development.
