Rezoning Z-7868 (11th & Harvard)

Told the council the drive entry on Indianapolis Avenue threatens safety and emergency response on her residential street and asked them to consider alternatives, including using 11th Street access or the floodplain side.

A 30-year Indianapolis Avenue resident who said emergency vehicles already can't get down the two-block street during TU games and asked the council to deny the rezoning and keep the land green.

A 35-year resident who said current plans would impede exits onto 11th Street and increase cut-through traffic; asked the council not to approve.

Resident since 1990 who said parked cars on both sides leave no room for emergency vehicles, invited councilors to see the street at her September 5 party, and asked for a better access solution.
