Holiday home tours at 1020 E. 21st St.

A direct across-the-street neighbor said last year's unannounced tours drew a citation and argued the tours are really retail shopping that should stay at the applicant's stores.

A resident of 32 years calculated roughly a thousand visitors over nine days and called the home an advertising annex for the applicant's two retail stores, urging denial.

A 40-year resident warned that allowing retail into the historic neighborhood would set a precedent and described past tour traffic as hazardous.
