FedEx parking lot expansion drainage easement
The FedEx property owner needed permission to run a private underground drainage pipe under city-owned open space next to 1815 SW 11th Street. The city granted it for about $638, and the surface of the open space stays intact since the pipe is buried.
Binding site plan amendment — 55 NW Sheridan Road
A property owner asked the commission to amend the binding site plan for Lots 11-14, Block 6, Lee Addition at 55 NW Sheridan Road. A binding site plan sets what can be built and how the site is laid out, so the change could shape future development on that corner.
THE FISTA downtown replat
A replat of downtown blocks around Central Plaza would reorganize the area into twelve lots, clearing the way for the FISTA project. The Planning Commission recommended approval with conditions, which staff said had all been met.
Council transition in Wards 3 and 4
Lawton officially seated Kirby Brown in Ward 3 and Tiffiney Dimery in Ward 4, replacing longtime members Linda Chapman and George Gill. Residents of those wards now have new first points of contact on the Council.
